– improving cold script reading skills and phrasing
– taking direction, making-adjustments and sustaining energy
– using imaginations and trust in instincts
– understanding character arcs
– performing with texture and nuances
– becoming familiar with different story lines
– interacting in film dialogues with classmates and your coach
– feedback and evaluations emailed within 7-14 days following class
HOMEWORK:
A 1 or 2 page film dialogue is emailed to practice aloud 5 days before class.
No need to memorize. Practice both parts in dialogue aloud 5 times before class.

John got support from Hall of Fame Sports Broadcaster, Jack Buck, portrayed by actor, William H. Macy. Joey conducted a nation-wide search for ages 9-12 for SOUL ON FIRE in 2025. She cast feature films Moonrise, Bratz, Mighty Oak, Soul Surfer. Joey cast 20 animated and live TV series and Disney Adventures of Sam Sandwich. She cast Emmy winning TV series, Even Stevens starring Shia LeBeouf. Joey graduated Calif. Institute of Arts. She appeared on Nightline, Dr. Phil, and Access Hollywood as an expert for young talent.
