JUDY BERLIN

Director and founder of Kids on Camera since 1981, Judy is a credentialed teacher in Theatre Arts/Communications, a professional voiceover, vocalist, and casting director. 
With a B.A. from Michigan State U, and graduate work in film at Wayne State U and SF State U, Judy has taught for over 40 years in Chicago, Detroit, San Francisco, Marin County and Canada. She was casting director for Harcourt Brace Jovanovich Educat’l Films for 7 yrs. Casting credits include DISNEY FILMS and NICKELODEON. Judy was a voiceover on SESAME STREET for 12 years and is a member of the professional performing unions: SAG/AFTRA. Judy has performed as a vocalist and was a runner up on the TV show, STARS OF TOMORROW, hosted by Joan Rivers. Judy has taught children with learning differences (eg: dyslexia), at the Developmental Resource Center in Florida and the Charles Armstrong School, in Belmont, CA. KGO TV consumer reporter, Michael Finney, from Seven on Your Side and View from the Bay, featured Kids on Camera in 1998 and 2009. He spoke of Judy’s high quality program when he said: “Kids on Camera was the right place to go.


DEBÓRAH ELIEZER

DEBÓRAH ELIEZER, Assoc. Director; on staff 18 years; Debórah coaches all ages and makes learning fun! Experienced acting, improv, and voiceover coach; stage and voiceover actor, dancer, and arts activist for over 25 years. She developed our improv, acting and voiceover programs.
She is the Artistic Director of Aviva Arts, an original world premiere theater co. which tours locally and internationally. She is passionate about using acting skills for personal expression and professional development. As a pro voiceover she voiced 25 Leapfrog Toys TV Commercials and the Nickelodeon TV commercial, Dora The Explorer and video games for the Sims, Monopoly and Godfather.  Debórah has voiced hundreds of 1-800 “As Seen on TV” Products. She stars in the upcoming short film, Wresting Place, by Coral Cohen. Theater roles include Marin Shakespeare Co. and Golden Thread. She has performed in San Francisco, NYC, UK, Cairo and Olivia cruise ships. She holds a B.A. Cum Laude from San Francisco State Univ., and is a certified Sound, Voice Movement Healing arts practitioner from the Calif Institute of Integral Studies and a certified yoga instructor. 


STEPHEN BASS

Stephen has over 30 years of professional theatre performing and teaching experience and is a former staff member at Kids on Camera.  He has a BFA in theatre from San Francisco State U and a multiple subject teaching credential. He currently performs for events and parties with his company All Star Stilts & Comedy. He also teaches drama for Pre-K through middle school with SF Unified Schools focusing on physical comedy, improvisational theatre, and character development.


KELLY ‘TEXAS’ HOLLY

KELLY ‘TEXAS’ HOLLY has been a dynamic coach at Kids on Camera since 2011. She is known for her incredible physical comedy coaching with young kids and teens. A professional circus and physical comedy artist, and dancer. She has been singing, acting and dancing forever! 
Texas is a graduate of the director and talent coordinator at Circus Center in S.F. She received her BA in dance from University of North Texas. She studied at the Clown Conservatory. She was youth program director for 2 years and a coach for over 10 years at San Francisco’s Circus Center. Currently at Circus Center, she is the Community Engagement Director. Her extensive resume, includes performing on TV’s America’s Got Talent and with the New Pickle Circus. She performed in China at the 10th International Clown Festival. She has performed at Children’s Fairyland in Oakland, Lunatique Fantastique, Miracle Theater, and Jump Theater. She taught at Prescott Circus Theater, a youth leadership program in the East Bay for 10 years. Whether on stage or in the classroom, Texas brings her extraordinary talent and joy to all who know her.


JOHN LITTEN

An improvisation specialist, accomplished playwright, director, actor, and coach; he earned his B.A in theatre at San Diego State U. and was co-founder of the Los Angeles based program The Young Actors Project (Y.A.P.) from 2005 – 2013.
While w/ Y.A.P. John created after-school acting programs and improv leagues. John has produced over 90 plays, written 33 original scripts and adapted dozens of stories from classic literature. While at San Diego State, he created a traveling theatre co. which toured California. John has taught with San Francisco Youth Theatre since 2013. In 2014 – 2015, John directed stage plays at Marsh Youth Theatre and Brava Theatre in SF. He directed an original version of Robin Hood at Marsh Youth Theater. He also facilitated after-school acting programs for grades K-5th. John has performed in Mexico, Russia, Bali and at the Grahamstown National Arts Festival held in South Africa the second largest theatre festival in the world. John was on staff at Kids on Camera from 2014 – 2016 coaching all ages for TV/Film Acting, Scenes, Monologues and Improv. In 2017 he taught at Northwest Children’s Theatre School in Portland OR. John believes in the powers of positivity, creativity, and inspiration. His goal is to elevate youth performers to their highest potential. Currently John is teaching performing arts at high schools in Walnut Creek. He will be a guest coach at Kids on Camera in the future.


DAVID ROSENTHAL

Actor, voiceover, director and coach. On staff at Kids on Camera for 27 yrs. He casts all ages for interactive games. David received his BA in Theatre, Anthropology, and English Lit. from Sarah Lawrence College.
He has studied in NYC at Herbert Bergoff Studios. David is one of the nation’s top voice over coaches with over 25 years of voice over coaching experience and he has helped many people start or further their career. As a voice over talent, David has over 1000 voice over credits including 70 games which include Call of Duty and Super Mario Brothers. As an actor, David has been cast in over 60 national TV commercials, including Toyota, Pillsbury, Citibank, Sprint, Enbrel, True Value Hardware, Pizza Hut, and Alka Seltzer. He has been a TV voiceover for SONY and Nintendo and the announcer for Astro Boy Cartoon. Directorial and coaching credits include Kittredge School, School of the Arts in SF S.O. T. A., Mercy High, Freeman School, and Lilliput Players Children’s Theatre. He is father to Jonah and Madeleine, who also have acted on TV and in films. Madeleine is a vocalist and composer and Jonah is a filmmaker. David brings warmth and sensitivity to his students. He is currently living in Los Angeles.


GUEST ARTIST

EZRA STANLEY

Director, coach, actor, writer and award-winning filmmaker. 
With a BA in Cinema & Film Production from SF State U; his awards include Best TV Commercial Award at the Burbank International Film Festival in 2009 and 2010 and Best Commercial at HollyShorts Film Festival in Hollywood in 2011. As a coach he assists elementary and middle school students with ADHD and learning differences and taught Experiential Learning at SFStateU. He is a motivational speaker at his alma mater at Lowell High School. Ezra attended Kids on Camera at a young age participated in our Talent Showcase which led to castings in commercials, voiceovers and films, such as ED TV directed by Ron Howard. In 2019 he was the lead actor in the Indie Film Junior which won awards at film festivals. In 2020 he was the lead actor in a Michelob TV Commercial produced in the Bay Area in 2020. On our staff for over 4 yrs.

JOEY PAUL JENSEN, CASTING DIRECTOR & FILM PRODUCER 

Award winning casting director, film producer and acting coach for over 20 years. Joey has cast hundreds of hours of episodic TV for family networks Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Disney Ch, CBS, ABC, and PBS. Joey has cast 75 films and 18 live & animated TV series. 
Films include Legally Blonde, Camp Cool Kids, Soul Surfer. Animated and live TV series include Disney Adventures of Sam Sandwich.  Joey met Nicole Moorea Sherman in our workshop at age 12. Joey helped Nicole meet film directors who cast her in the film Little People (2016) and in 2018 she was cast as the lead in the film, Into the Darkness.

LINDA DEFILIPPO, TALENT MANAGER

Linda is a talent manager for over 20 years with a strong work ethic. She has worked with us for over 7 yrs. Most managers take talented actors with less experience and helps develop them and connects them with auditions for TV/film and voiceover. Her young clients have been cast on Modern Family, This Is Us and Atticus Shaffer was a series regular, ABC’s The Middle for 9 seasons. Linda has cast Kids on Camera students in the ABC series Fresh Off the Boat and the lead role in 2020 film Junior, which won Outstanding Indie Film at Detroit Black Film Festival.
