-HOLLY HAS CAST 60 films with Pixar Films and Skywalker Ranch. She cast Polar Express, Jurassic World 1, 2, 3 and Kids on Camera students in Toy Story 3.
-SHE SEARCHES for new talent to cast in future films.
-LEARN WHAT HAPPENS on a looping set, what looping means, how sound works in films.
ABOUT OUR FUN WORKSHOP and FOCUS:
-IMPROVISATION SKILLS & USING A STRONG VOICE play an important role
-ACTIVITIES MOVE QUICKLY as students take direction and trust their instincts.
-THE ZOOM FORMAT IS SUCCESSFUL AS STUDENTS interact and have fun
-CREATE fun sounds and short one-line sentences: One-line “shout out” samples: “Roller coasters are fun.” “Space Mountain is a wild ride.”
-A PARENT JOINS the last 15 min as students perform a live demo of activities they learned.

HOLLY’s FILM CASTINGS INCLUDE
Batman, Polar Express, Avatar 2, Kung Fu Panda, Monsters University, Top Gun 2 Maverick. She cast 15 actors, ages 5-18, in Jurassic World 1 & 2 and Jurassic World 3.
HOLLY’s NEWER CREDITS
SHE PRODUCED and DIRECTED new film, ASHES TO ASHES, in 2024 which is winning awards at film festivals. SHE CAST FILM, Godzilla & One-Piece teen series on Netflix and feature film, Formula 1, starring Brad Pitt to be released JUNE 2025.
EASY HOMEWORK
5 days before class I email instructions for students to create a one-line announcement about a neighborhood or school event to prepare before class.
Example: “Join our Sunday block party with free cookies.”
LEARN HOW TO AUDITION from HOME
with a good mic or build a sound-proof closet which may lead to more auditions
MORE ABOUT HOLLY DORFF
She cast our teen student to loop in Journey 2, The Mysterious Island. Other castings: Iron Man 1 & 2, Peanuts Movie. HOLLY was cast in hundreds of commercials as a child. Holly is a graduate of the American Film Institute and Producers Program. Her mother was a casting director and actor, Beverley Long. Beverley was Natalie Woods best friend in film, Rebel without a Cause (The presence of this casting director is for educational purposes and in no way constitutes the promise of representation or employment.)
